U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s President’s Award – April 2006
HCCL was awarded the “U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s President’s Award” for establishing a capacity building institution and providing leadership for Hispanic businesses after the devastation of Katrina.
National Small Hispanic Chamber of the Year – September 2006
HCCL was named the “National Small Hispanic Chamber of the Year” by the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce at their Annual Convention.
Latin Council – September 2009
HCCL was appointed by Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana to a founding seat on the Latin Council which he signed into law in June 2009.
SBA Louisiana 2010 Small Business Minority Champion of the Year – May 2010
Executive Director Darlene A. Kattan was named the SBA Louisiana 2010 Small Business Minority Champion of the Year.
