Five Louisiana companies ranked among the nation's largest Hispanic-owned companies
Pan-American Life Insurance Co. and four other Louisiana companies appear on Hispanic Business 500, an annual list of the largest Hispanic-owned companies in the United States.
Pan-American, an insurance company based in New Orleans, is ranked 23rd on the list, which is published by Hispanic Business magazine.
Delta Fuel Co. Inc., a Ferriday petroleum firm, is ranked 152nd.
Atlantis International Inc., a Metairie lubricant distributor, is ranked 382rd.
Three-Plus Inc., a Kenner gasoline station operator, is 438th.
And Garcia Companies, a Prairieville roofing contractor, is 492.
